OnCourse at BTME 2019 - Harrogate!

Thursday 31 January 2019

GEO Foundation shared OnCourse - the contemporary approach to sustainable golf management to the 1000’s of attendees from the UK and internationally.

The greenkeeping industry was joined by Club Managers, Golf Club Committees and Board Members, Industry Experts for the annual event to recognise and educate those who deliver great golf courses in the UK and around the world.

The OnCourse stand proved popular with attendees dropping in to discuss sustainability at their clubs, share their OnCourse Highlights and see OnCourse in action.

"It was great to see so many of the people who are involved and also chat to people interested in exploring how OnCourse can benefit them and their facilities.

We look forward to working with all of the new OnCourse clubs" John Kemp, OnCourse Engagement

Reading through the Highlights that people have been sharing was one of the most popular things at the stand. Anyone who adds examples of their work to foster nature, conserve resources or build community into OnCourse® this month is eligible for the prize draw for the 2019 Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club at Archerfield.

GEO Foundation would like to extend a big thank you to the fantastic BIGGA team for putting on another great year of 'Continue to Learn' Conference and BTME show. Thanks also to James Hutchinson - Ecology & Sustainability Manager – for his expertise in helping to further the sustainability in golf.
