Yas Links is now completely free of plastic bottles, saving an impressive 50,000 bottles annually by exclusively using glass bottles and providing golfers with reusable alternatives. This initiative has been widely embraced by both golfers and guests.

You can read more about this initiative in Worldwide Golf:

“As plastic waste and pollution continue to rise, we all need to make a conscious effort to do our part,” said Francisco de Lancastre David, Cluster General Manager. “I’m proud to have both golf clubs on board with this new sustainable initiative, which will significantly reduce our carbon footprint. I hope our members and visitors are inspired by this commitment when they visit the course.”

Additionally, Destination Golf highlights the following:

"Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and Yas Links Abu Dhabi, both owned by Aldar Properties, have eliminated all single-use plastic bottles from their premises as of March 2021, reinforcing their dedication to environmental sustainability."
