We maintain and conserve our important core habitats for nesting birds, invertebrates and mammals, and create micro-habitats such as deadwood, log piles, areas of leaf litter and fallen branches to encourage the hibernation of hedgehogs.
We have produced a leaflet of information about the benefits of these within our woodland area in order to educate and encourage members, and increase the club's social outreach and community engagement programmes.
