Wetlands and wildflower area provide haven for range of wildlife

Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society Ltd

Scotland

Since 2018, the course has been redesigned and includes wetland areas that encourage amphibians and ducks, the latter of who live in a 'duck house'.

Wildflower areas are commonplace around the course and form a natural feast and source of pollen for insects and bees in particular. a local bee colony is kept on the course from which the course has its own honey source.
