Bottle caps may look like simple and unimportant objects that normally are consigned to the trash bin. However, at Aphrodite Hills Golf we collect hundreds of bottle caps on a daily basis to give them to a local charity that turns them into wheelchairs for people with disabilities.
The cap movement began a few years at Aphrodite Hills and since then thousands of bottle caps have been collected for a good cause. With this initiative, we help to improve people's lives and spread awareness about recycling benefits - showing people that taking a few minutes to collect their plastic waste and take it to recycling centres can really make a big difference.
