Field gentian (gentianella campestris), which has a UK conservation status as vulnerable, is thriving in several populations across Dufftown Golf Club. The altering of mowing lines, particularly rough edges, has allowed for these biennial flowering plants to grow to their full potential undisturbed. Management and monitoring is being carried out with support from our local biodiversity partnership.
