Use of recycled water for all course irrigation

In a region where water is scarce, the totality of water used in La Finca Resort (Alicante, Spain) for golf course irrigation (249226 m³) is reclaimed water. The water comes from Torrevieja's (neighbouring town) water treatment plant. So, the golf course uses treated waste water from an urban area that would have otherwise ended up back in a natural watercourse or the sea.
