In celebration of its 10th anniversary in December 2023, the club organized a tree-planting project to enhance its flora and fauna. Sponsoring members participated in planting 22 selected fruit trees at strategic locations, including Hole 1, Hole 10, and the driving range. This initiative is part of a broader goal to plant 110 trees around the course, fostering a greener environment and supporting local wildlife.
These trees not only support local ecosystems but also have the ability to sequester and store carbon, helping us combat climate change. Additionally, trees help reduce soil erosion by stabilizing the soil and reducing the risk of flooding during periods of heavy precipitation through their ability to intercept water, which then leads to evapotranspiration.
