At Machrihanish Dunes we are an example of what can be achieved when golf course developers work with nature, rather than against it. Our club holds the unique selling point for visitors as 'the most natural golf course in the world'.
Developed on a SSSI, our club offers the perfect environment for a natural golf experience and we were allowed to build the course because of the very natural approach we took. This has made the course stand out, often lauded by journalists and visitors for it's unique natural setting and in 2016 we were recognised by the International Golf Tourism Organisation for outstanding sustainability.
