In September 2023, we installed two 22kW AC chargers within the golf club car park, providing four EV charging bays. In just a short time, the Manor house, as part of the Exclusive Collection, have contributed to the offset of 76.7 tonnes of carbon, equivalent to planting 1,966 trees over a 10-year period.
The emission-free miles generated from these chargers amount to over 280,000 miles, contributing substantially to our overall carbon footprint reduction. To ensure the charging solution is user-friendly, the chargers are convenient and affordable for our members and guests enabling simple payment via a contactless debit/credit card.
The bespoke design integrates seamlessly with the unique grounds of our golf club, reflecting our dedication to maintaining the beauty of our landscape. Our partnership with RAW Charging includes ongoing maintenance and support, a 24-7, multilingual helpdesk for drivers, ensuring the utmost reliability and accessibility of our EV charging facility. This installation not only supports our scope 2 carbon emissions reduction efforts but also aligns with our goal of providing exceptional facilities and all round service to our members and guests.
