En lokal biodlare kommer att ställa upp ett 10-tal bikupor på golfbanan under våren 2021. Bina sköts och ägs av biodlaren som också kommer att sälja honung till klubben från de kupor som står hos oss - Viksjö golfklubbs egen honung! Honungen kommer att säljas i shopen. Kuporna kommer att stå i ett högt läge, med fin utsikt över en stor del av banan. Eftersom klubben ligger i tättbebyggt område finns det mycket växter i villaträdgårdar och fruktträd i närheten att pollinera och samla pollen från, förutom alla de träd, slånbär och blommor som växer på golfbanan.

A local beekeeper will place about 10 hives on the golf course in the spring of 2021. The bees are owned and cared for by the beekeeper who will sell honey to the club - Viksjö Golf Club's own honey which will be sold in the club shop. The hives will stand in a high location, with nice views of large parts of the course. Because the club is located in a densely populated area, there are a lot of plants in private gardens and fruit trees nearby to pollinate and collect pollen from, in addition to all the trees, sloe/blackthorn bushes and flowers growing on the golf course.
