LIV Golf UK made strides in sustainability by aligning with ambitious goals, including aiming for Net Zero by 2027 and pursuing BCorp certification. The event featured a thoughtful approach to catering, with a 50:50 meat-to-vegetarian menu that emphasised more ethical food choices. Additionally, JCP’s 95% organic certification highlighted responsible sourcing practices.

In terms of waste reduction, the event helped eliminate over 200,000 plastic bottles through the use of 31 hydration stations, setting a standard for minimising single-use plastics. Partnering with Majesticks Golf Team, excess plastic was recycled into equipment for youth golf clinics, contributing to greater access to the sport for underrepresented communities.

Water conservation was also a priority, with 90% of spectator toilets designed to reduce water usage. Furthermore, the JCB course is working towards GEO facility certification, ensuring that its environmental practices meet high sustainability standards. While the event made significant progress in these areas, it continues to explore ways to enhance its environmental impact and community engagement in the future.
