Since 2011, WM Phoenix Open has purchased 100% renewable energy from Arizona Public Service - additionally, it tracks and offsets all greenhouse gas emissions from the tournament with the exception of fan travel.
WM's commitment to sustainability extends to the trucks hauling tournament materials, which are run on compressed natural gas instead of diesel, emitting less than half the greenhouse emissions.
