In October 2024, we built a new photovoltaic system (PV system). The installation includes solar panels on four buildings. An in-roof system covers the entire roof of our new Golf Clubhouse. In addition we have installed on-roof systems on two event pavilions and our Caddy Room.
The installation started to operate on all four roofs beginning in November 2024. The PV system will have an output of 260 kWp and is expected to generate 264,000 kWh of electricity per year. This corresponds to roughly 75% of the total annual requirements of the golf club and the golf restaurant.
With this sustainable measure, we are making an important contribution to reducing CO2 emissions and promoting renewable energy in the region. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to an environmentally friendly future and sends out a strong signal in favour of sustainability in the sports and leisure sector.
