A golf course is always going to require energy to run, but that energy can be sourced from a lot of places. At Wylihof, we have partnered with AEK to build a Biomass boiler that uses sustainably sourced wood pellets from the local woodlands to create a carbon-neutral heating system that not only supplies the golf course but supplies the local community as well.
Small centralised community resources such as this help to create fuel-efficient energy while also supporting the modern requirements of society.
