Shambhala had the privilege of hosting the PGTA (Professional Golf Teachers Association) Golf Championship for disabled individuals not once but twice in 2021-22. In our pursuit of opportunities to give back to the community, we learned that the championship was established through the generous talent donations of PGTA members who aimed to provide golf experiences for differently-abled individuals.
Touched by this noble cause, we decided to make our contribution by offering our golf course facilities and preparing special gifts for the participants, including those with developmental, visual, and auditory challenges. We are committed to continuing our support by regularly hosting events and programs that provide even more opportunities for the local community to enjoy the game of golf.
