The very infrequent presence of great crested newts and dragonflies develops extremely well. Five years ago, when holes 3-6 were constructed, there was a suspicion of the presence of these rare specimens.
Sustainable maintenance, focussed mowing and the creation of eco-zones with higher grass allowed the population to grow and even expand to the original course. Also, the dragonflies and green frogs develop extremely well as a token of sustainable management.
