Sustainable stumpery encourages wildlife

The proposed reservoir site needed to be cleared of any trees before the groundworks began. It was decided the most sustainable way of dealing with the tree stumps would be to create a stumpery close to the new reservoir.

We chose an area that isn't in play for golfers and this meant we can keep it as natural as possible. Any future tree works that generate cut limbs, trunks etc can be added to the stumpery. Encouraging wildlife further.
