Stocking the ponds and creating new habitats for fish

Our golf course features five ponds, including one main irrigation pond and four others integrated into the course design. To encourage family-friendly activities, we partnered with members to stock these ponds for catch-and-release fishing, adding homemade fish habitats and gravel for spawning areas to support fish populations. Beyond providing recreation, the fish contribute to the ecosystem by controlling algae and pests, enhancing water quality, and reducing the need for chemical treatments.

Stocking the ponds also boosts biodiversity, attracting various wildlife like birds and amphibians, and adds visual appeal to the course. These ponds now serve as both a recreational and educational resource, demonstrating the benefits of sustainable practices. By naturally managing plant growth and reducing shoreline erosion, the fish contribute to a stable pond environment that aligns with our sustainability goals, creating an asset that enhances the ecological and aesthetic value of the property.
