Caitlin, our Sustainability Coordinator, is a graduate from Heriot-Watt University. She was recently contacted by a PhD student from the University who was leading a site visit to nearby Gullane Beach, doing some fieldwork with second year students from the University.
Caitlin was asked to give a brief explanation to the students of postgraduate life and her role at Renaissance. It was a fantastic chance to educate students on the GEO process and different aspects of golf sustainability; reflecting on the BTME event in Harrogate and GCSSA event in San Diego earlier this year. There is a rising emphasis on sustainability in golf and it's great to educate as many as possible on the opportunities that lie ahead!
