The club has been working very closely with Natural England to educate local dog walkers and ramblers on the importance of preserving the natural habitats on our golf course. There are several signs around the golf course detailing all of the birds that can be found. This is to encourage dogs to be kept on leads so no nests are destroyed. During the sky lark's nesting season golf buggies are banned from the rough and no cutting is carried out.
