To enhance our commitment to the environment and reduce our impact on the planet, we have developed a strategy that includes medium and long-term goals. This framework enables our management team and staff to focus on continuous improvement and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, alongside other important initiatives such as minimising single-use plastic items across the resort.

A key aspect of this strategy is the introduction of monthly emissions reporting in 2023, which is shared with all staff members at the resort. This increased transparency not only fosters a culture of accountability but also emphasises the importance of reducing CO2 equivalent emissions. Lowering these emissions is critical for mitigating climate change and protecting the environment for future generations.

As a result of our focused efforts, we achieved a reduction of 6.8% in Scope 1 and 2 emissions in the first half of 2024 compared to our baseline year of 2022. This progress is regularly discussed, and performance is reviewed during our Green Council meetings, ensuring that all staff members are informed through our monthly 'sustainability blast.'

By prioritising emissions reductions, we are taking meaningful steps towards a more sustainable future.
