Separating waste into recycling and compost at source

Grange Golf Club

Ireland

Written by: Jonathan Palmer

Segmented recycling stations are situated at strategic locations around the course. These provide the opportunity for golfers to separate their waste at source. Composable waste is treated on site ultimately to be used as a nutrient source for our organic allotment. The units are constructed using an Irish produced recycled plastic. The overall aim is to greatly reduce the percentage of our waste which heads to landfill.
