The Royal Green’s Golf and Country Club started the “Royal Junior Stars Program” in February 2021, with the latest generation of SNAG (Starting New At Golf) equipment. The SNAG was designed to provide students in schools and universities the chance to try golf for the very first time and attract the younger generations to grow the game.
The program has grown to 47 Kids, from ages 3 to 15, with most of the kids being ten years old. Ten kids have signed up for individual packages during weekdays to sharpen their game and take a more focused approach to improve. Royal Greens is looking to grow the program to 100 Kids in 2022 and start Royal Greens National Team to compete with other juniors within the Middle East, for example, the Future Falcons in Abu Dhabi.
