On Saturday, May 6, 2023, the greens of The Els Club Teluk Datai echoed with the thwack of clubs and the camaraderie of golf enthusiasts coming together for a noble cause. The Rotary Club of Langkawi hosted their Charity Golf Masters Tournament, a day brimming with sportsmanship, generosity, and community spirit. With 24 golfers participating, each swing aimed not only for excellence on the course but also for making an impact on the local community.

The tournament aimed to raise funds in support of Hospital Langkawi, a vital institution serving the healthcare needs of the island. Even non-golfers had the opportunity to contribute and be part of the philanthropic endeavor. For RM 250, they indulged in a Gala BBQ Dinner hosted at the Tanjung Rhu Resort, Langkawi.

Besides the excitement of the tournament, there were novelty and tournament winner prizes, ensuring that every participant had a chance to walk away with a cherished memento of their day on the greens.
