The coastline at Dunbar Golf Course is one of the most startlingly beautiful features of the site. It is, however, under threat from litter and rubbish that builds up harming the local wildlife, leaking chemicals, taking thousands of years to decompose and damaging the aesthetic beauty of the site.
Robin Laurence Morris, who has now sadly passed away, will be remembered for setting up "Robin's Walk", an annual event sponsored by Dunbar Golf Course. Thirty volunteers meet to remove any rubbish found along the coast, followed by a drink in the club at the end. This event not only keeps our coasts clean through the generosity of others but also helps build community spirit within the local area.
