In the rainy season, the damp weather in Chengdu results in the wooden stairs becoming overgrown with moss, increasing the risk of slips and falls. In 2015, we replaced the hitting mats of the driving range and found they are perfect non-slip mats for the wooden steps on the course. They also look like natural turf, keeping in line with the aesthetics of the course.

By recycling the old hitting mats and installing them on the wooden steps of seven holes we saved cost from buying other materials, while also improving safety on the course.
