In November, the greenkeeping team worked on the area between hole 3 and hole 8. This spot was covered in heather but also overgrown with thorny brambles, making it difficult to find your ball and easy to tear your clothes.
The area has recently been cleared and new heather seeds were sown. In the coming years, this spot will bloom purple again in the summer - helping to improve both the playability and aesthetic of the golf course.
