On the course Rigi / Hole 3, the artificial lake, which was sealed with a foil, was renatured with the WWF and Pro Natura, accompanied by Steiner and Partner.
The lake had no inlet and therefore had to be aerated with water fountains. A new meteoric water pipe was opened to create a creek with the stream supplemented with stones and small structures and the embankments planted with native perennials and hedges. The remaining area was seeded with a rodural mixture and the water fountains could be dismantled. This process created a valuable stream for nature, which is more ecological than the previous artificial lake.
