Recycling old driving range golf balls

Kristianstads Golfklubb & Destination

Written by: Bianca Mignon Pronk

The majority of golf balls are neither recyclable nor biodegradable, resulting in significant waste accumulation. However, at Kristianstads Golf Klubb and Destination, we have established a partnership with a company dedicated to responsibly managing our old and worn-out golf balls.

Through this collaboration, we successfully recycled 14,337 golf balls, totaling 660 kg of recycled waste. This initiative translates to approximately 3,226 kg of reduced CO2 emissions. By recycling these balls, we aim not only to mitigate the carbon footprint associated with their life cycles but also to minimise plastic waste and reduce landfill usage.
