The olive trees in Messinia, Greece, are not only part of the natural landscaping but have been part of the Greek and Messinian culture for thousands of years. Every year, after the harvesting of the olives, trees are pruned and there is tons of wood material to be recycled. At Costa Navarino Hills we took the recycling of this material to the next level, not only returning it to the land, like the ancient ways, but also producing the olive tree wood chips that we use for decorating our landscaping out-of-play areas.
