The Dow GLBI displays various types of plants throughout its week of tournament, all needing to be watered daily during the summer heat.
Rain barrels are placed at locations with high water collection potential to be used for these plants. Volunteers part of the Green Team are stationed by the barrels to educate spectators on the sustainability efforts.
