The club actively promotes habitat creation and conservation. A woodland management programme is delivering healthier vegetation and habitats within the site. This programme includes conservation work in an existing ecological corridor between the course and a protected area, where native heather and gorse bush are present. The protected area also connects with a green belt along the coastal line, which is currently under a habitat restoration scheme.
