The house team at NHGC is now using plant-based cleaning products in all areas. These products are highly effective, pH neutral and safe on all surfaces. They are manufactured from naturally derived ingredients, not tested on animals, readily biodegradable, and contain minimal VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
The products are formulated to emit fewer harmful gases than the more traditional high VOC products, and are therefore less harmful to human health and the environment. In addition, the PCR packaging reduces single-use plastic waste. The products are environmentally and financially a more sustainable option.
