Every year, the WWF, Pro Natura, the local government and Lipperswil Golfclub meet to discuss and set new environmental goals for the coming 12 months. In 2019, one of the measures included flattening the bank of the pond on the 17th hole. Local rocks and gravel were used for this project. A second project involved creating a shallow pond on the 5th hole to provide a home for fireflies and toads.
