Partnering with local school to celebrate wildlife

Rothes Golf Club

Scotland

Written by: John Milne

With assistance from Scottish Golf and using my own images of wildlife found on-site, art pupils from our local high school, Speyside High, designed an information board to be positioned near our first tee which is on a well-travelled route for walkers, joggers, cyclists and horse riders.

Using reclaimed timber and whisky barrel staves, one of our club members constructed a suitable frame. Log piles and other materials for habitat creation have been built around the sign.
