In 2018, we built and placed 160 birdhouses around the course in three sizes and four different sizes of entrance holes from 3.6 to 11.5 cm. Most of the houses are made for little birds at 3.6 cm and five have the largest hole size.
We check every spring that the houses are intact and firmly attached to the trees. Every year, we make about 10 to 20 new ones. Almost half of the houses had residents last summer.
