La biodiversità che caratterizza il nostro percorso è la nostra risorsa più importante: il golfisti arrivano qui da ogni parte del mondo attratti non solo dal nostro magnifico disegno in stile links, teatro di battaglia di uno degli Open d'Italia più epici mai disputati, ma anche dalla possibilità di giocare tra oltre trecento daini che corrono liberamente e felicemente sui nostri fairway. Inoltre i nostri due ettari di laghi attirano le principali specie di uccelli del Delta, mentre è la norma vedere sbucare dalla macchia che costeggia le buche un riccio, un coloratissimo fagiano o un simpatico coniglio. Ci impegniamo costantemente per migliorare le nostre performance di biodiversità e allo stesso tempo sensibilizzare i visitatori. Le nostre azioni più recenti includono:-la creazione di 1,5 Ha di rough incolto;-l'installazione di casette e mangiatoie per gli uccelli; .la creazione di due zattere per gli uccelli acquatici; -la realizzazione di una fotogallery sulla fauna.

Our golf course biodiversity is our most important asset: golfers from all over the world are attracted not only by our majestic links-style design - the battleground of one of the most epic Italian Opens ever staged - but also by the possibility to play amidst more than 300 fallow deers that run freely and happily on our fairways. Moreover, our 2 hectares of lakes attract all the principal bird species of the Delta, whereas it's very common to see a hedgehog, a brightly coloured pheasant or a cute rabbit coming out from the patches of scrubs that border the course. We work constantly to improve our biodiversity and to raise awareness amongst visitors. Our latest actions include: the creation of 1.5 hectares of wild grassland areas; installation of birdboxes and feeders of different sizes; creation of 2 floating rafts for aquatic birds and the realization of a wildlife photo gallery. In 2020 we have been awarded by the IGF with 'Impegnati nel Verde' for the Biodiversity Category.
