After lots of sightings of toads, slow worms and other reptiles it was decided to create our third hibernaculum beside the watercourse but on dry land(ish) and behind the log bug hotel. Here's hoping it's a popular spot.
For ease, a wooden pallet was converted into a ladder-type escape from the water.
