On site seed trials produce ideal turf and reduce CO2 from transport

Taking nothing to chance when it comes to managing turf, we conduct our own seed trials to understand and identify cultivars that best grow to our conditions. Our course is very site-specific and we aim to deliver turf surfaces suited to our microclimate.

To remove any guesswork and save time we do our own research & development, thus eradicating deliveries of different seeds in an attempt to find the right one. This cuts down the amount of lorries on the road delivering to us in turn helping the club as a whole have a reduced carbon footprint, but also helps us optimise the turfgrass we grow to minimise inputs required to deliver the best surfaces for our climate.
