Roehampton Golf Course, London has some of the most spectacular old trees you are likely to find. Some are approaching veteran status whilst some could potentially be classed as ancient.
Take these old oaks for instance - given the girth of well over 5 meters, it is suggested they could be over 500 years old, however, the highlight of the course is the old false acacia tree located near to the clubhouse. This gnarly old girl is of considerable age given the cracks, decay and fissures she has. A real beauty!
