In 1900, there were over 3000 fruit varieties in Switzerland. Around 1000 of these have now completely disappeared, as have 80% of the fruit trees fields of the time.
It is time to take care of the remaining diversity and to (re)discover it. For this reason, various old varieties were planted on the golf course during construction - e.g. Champagne Renette, Egger plum or Schneider apple.
