We now have 64 nursery hives spread across the course near native stands of trees and our wildflower gardens, giving the bees great access to nearby nectar. The hives are not in place for honey production but are instead nursery hives helping to grow populations and queens. The hives have been in place for three years, and following evaluation and reflection, I am happy to say they have been a great addition to our landscape.
