As part of our commitment to sustainability, we have recently introduced a purpose-built residence for our resident ducks on the golf course. Nestled in the heart of the lake on the 10th hole, this new habitat offers a secure and cozy sanctuary for our avian companions. The selection of this location was thoughtfully considered, ensuring that the ducks have easy access to nourishment and hydration, while also enjoying protection from potential predators.
It is important to recognise the valuable role ducks play in maintaining the balance of our ecosystem. They actively contribute to managing populations of insects and aquatic organisms, acting as natural agents of pest control. By creating appropriate habitats, we not only foster this natural pest management but also enrich the overall experience for our golfers.
