In 2024, the club installed a drinking water station in the Caddie Master area, strategically placed at the start, halfway point, and end of each round. The station provides free, filtered cold water for all golfers, with an emphasis on encouraging the use of reusable water bottles.
For those without one, branded water bottles are available for purchase at the Pro Shop. This initiative is set to significantly reduce reliance on single-use plastic water bottles, which are a major contributor to plastic pollution. In fact, over 1 million plastic bottles are purchased globally every minute, with the majority ending up in landfills or polluting the environment. By opting for reusable bottles, we can help combat this issue and align with our golf sustainability action plan.
