In 2018, an area of rough grassland adjacent to the 16th hole of the No1 course was transformed into a new wetland area. We excavated down approximately 2 and half feet to reach the low lying water table and shaped and contoured the area to form a basin.

Sprigs of marram have been planted and fescue grass seed has been sown on the banking surroundings. In time this area will naturally develop and will provide valuable habitat for a variety of wildlife.
