At Arabian Ranches Golf Club, we adhere to a policy of preserving and maintaining a buffer zone around all Ghaf trees on the golf course. This commitment extends to actively scouting for new young growth, nurturing them into mature trees. Currently, we proudly boast 364 Ghaf Trees on our property.
The Ghaf, known for its resilience to drought, retains its vibrant greenery even in the challenging desert conditions. Recognising its significance in sustaining both animal and plant species, the Ghaf holds a pivotal role in our ecosystem. Moreover, as the national tree of the UAE, it stands as a historic and cultural symbol, representing stability and peace in the desert environment of the region.
