In a region where consuming water during your round is essential Al Mouj Golf are trying different initiatives to reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles on the golf course. All members have been provided with their own Al Mouj Golf water bottle and free filling stations are situated at the club entry and at five strategic points are around the 18-hole championship course as well as three coolers on the 9-hole par 3 course.
Visitors to Al Mouj Golf can also support the initiative by purchasing a customized bottle with their check-in. Since the initiative was started in early 2019 we have seen a large uptake in members using their own bottles and water provided on the course as well as a reduction in the use of plastic water bottles.
