During winter we thin some of our tree areas, clear dead trees that shade playing surfaces and remove trees that are a health and safety risk.
Logs are then placed for members and the local community to collect which are used for household heating. This contributes to heat for households in the local community and has minimal climate impact. The images attached are from a member and local resident who is currently drying out their logs for use.
