Locally sourced benches made with sustainable materials

Four new handcrafted wooden benches have been installed as resting spots across the Oaks forests along with over 18 new directional signage posts.

Created by local carpenter David Rous from Říčany (less than 7km away) the benches and signs were built using solid oak, which was cut from fallen or damaged tree trunks and each weighs approximately 500 to 600 kilograms. This allowed us to use only natural materials and source them locally.
